Issuing of Tree Cutting Permits
Look for what type of license or grant has been issued for the land you wish to drop the tree.
-1) Annual License lands.
-2) middle-class lands that are not prepared.
-3) LDO Permit lands which are issued under the Act
-4) Landscaped landscaped landscaped land, land areas and Rathmal land grant.
No felling trees are permitted on the lands indicated under 1 and 2 above. All timber that is removed from these lands will be handed over to the Timber Corporation by the Divisional Secretary.
When the timber is issued under land No. 3, the timber is made 20 years old and the timber is allowed to be transported and transported.
The boundaries of land under 4 above may be permitted and permitted to fell trees and transport.
Issuing timber cutting permit
Submit the following documents to Divisional Secretary
1) Letter of Request - The signature of the applicant should be certified by the Grama Niladari.
2) Documents that can certify the ownership of the land
- Folio obtained from the District Land Registrar.
Survey plan of the land.
(Please also provide a photocopy of the above documents and the original will be given to you after the photocopy of a staff officer.)
3) Completed application.
